シャルロットの最初の作品は、彼女がバレンシアガでプレタポルテのデザイナーとして働いていた頃にニコラ・ゲスキエールのもとで生み出されたものです。彼女は、比率を駆使し、重ねて使える複数のブレスレットをデザインしました。
2015年、彼女は独立したジュエリーブランド、シャルロット・シェネを立ち上げました。クラシックな形を再構築する自信を持ち、ジュエリーを超えた独自のビジョンを確立しました。

A designer who defies time and trend, Charlotte CHESNAIS’ creations ingeniously exist as jewelry and sculpture.
Her namesake brand explores pure forms: lines and curves in endless interactions with the body. Circling the neck; swooping around the wrists; grazing the ears – her pieces convey streamlined sensuality and exude rhythmic expression.
Charlotte’s first piece dates back to when she worked as a ready-to-wear designer at Balenciaga for Nicolas Ghesquière and conceived a multiple cuff that played with proportions and could be stacked.
In 2015, she launched Charlotte CHESNAIS, an independent jewelry brand. With the confidence to reimagine classic forms, she has arrived at a singular vision that transcends jewelry.
A mother of three with an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, Charlotte applies her creativity purposefully – yet always with a sense of the unexpected. Charlotte also works as a consulting designer for A.P.C., Rabanne and Loro Piana.
“I entered into jewelry because I came from fashion, but I could have been making chairs or other objects. My pieces are not merely earrings, rings, bracelets or necklaces; they are objects that appear beautifully on the body but also as standalone designs. I like to set the jewelry-object against the contours of the body — with lines that are fluid, dynamic, sharp and disciplined. like to create pieces that explore different degrees of classical, well-balanced, sculptural design. I work against an established aesthetic, instead developing my own family of archetypes over time.”
